Ottawa Senators’ Mike Fisher

The National Hockey League can be a hard hitting, cold place. Warming it up is Mike Fisher, center for the Ottawa Senators.

Mike Fisher
This 27 year old NHL powerhouse is known for his aggressive play, as well as speed and skill. And best of all, he’s known as a devout Christian. He does sweet things like spending an entire day with a little boy who loves hockey and has cancer. In fact, Fisher spent the day playing with the child just two days before the little boy died.

Stanley Cup
The Ottawa Senators went farther than ever in the Stanley Cup finals this year, having started out with a great season. However, that all ended with a devastating loss to the Anaheim Ducks in Game 5 of the Cup. The Senators worked so hard to get there, and the disappointment was crushing.

“It’s the worst feeling you could have as a hockey player,” was the comment from Senators forward Mike Comrie. “They played us tough.”

Ottawa Senators Wall Clock
Ahh, there’s always another season, and Fisher and the Senators will have their day, I’m sure. I’ll be watching the clock, and you can find the Senators’ wall clock here
